Searching for an inexpensive, simple way to say "I Love You" this Valentines Day? There's nothing like a handmade card to tell someone they're super special. Easy enough for kids to make and cute enough for grown-ups who enjoy card making!

1.   Gather your supplies. Be creative! Use scraps of wrapping paper, stickers, sequins--anything you can find!

2.   Begin by folding your two pieces of paper in half.

3.   Draw half of a heart shape on the folded edge as shown.

4.   Mark off a 1" to 1 1/2" section along the edge of the heart. When you cut out the heart, this will be the section that you don't cut.

5.    Cut along the lines of your heart, top and bottom, EXCEPT the section you marked off in step 4. Leave this connected.

6.   Fold the heart to one side and crease it along the fold. Turn your card over and fold the heart to the other side.

7.   Now it's time to "pop out" your heart! Open the card and push the heart into the middle so it folds out instead if in.

8.   Close the card again (the heart should still be inside). Put glue around all the edges--try not to use too much, or it will warp the paper.
.

9.   Slide the pink paper inside the folded red paper and press down to glue them together. Avoid getting any glue on the part that's supposed to pop up. Let dry. When you open it back up, the heart should pop out!
.

10.  When you open the card up again, the heart should pop out, as shown.

11.  Decorate the front...

12.  and decorate the inside, and you're done! Send your card to someone you love!
